Instagram Walkthrough
When I first opened up Instagram, I looked at my notifications. If the notification was a comment, I would typically comment back to whomever posted the comment. If the notification was for somebody tagging me in a photo, I would look at the photo and either comment on it, like it, or both. When the notifications were for followers liking my photos, I typically would scroll past them, but would sometimes click on either the photo that I posted and they liked, or their individual profiles, when I know that I usually like looking at their pictures.
The next thing I did on Instagram was scroll through the most recent posts. I would usually like a photo from someone I don't know as well if I thought the person in the photo looked especially nice, or if there was a clever caption. I also liked a photo if the subject was something I liked.
I pretty much always liked the photo if it was one of my roommates or one of my close friends from home. Sometimes I liked the photo without really even knowing what it was.
